This site provides general information for dialing overseas
(which can be confusing if you've never done it) and detailed
information on the Country Codes (and City Codes) necessary to
reach your son or daughter overseas.
The site, hosted by AT&T, provides an easy interface for
locating the country area codes that are necessary to call
overseas.
The site will translate words and phases to and
from many different languages, including German,
Italian, Spanish and 18 other languages.
This site lists a number of words and phrases
that would be useful to know/provide a rough working
set of words that you might need while traveling in
another country. You'll need to translate those
works and phrases into the language you'll need, but
this set provides a great set of prompts that you
might not otherwise think of.
The site will translate a whole block of text (up
to 150 words) to and from different languages. A
very useful site.
