are called “Apotheke” and you can find them nearly everywhere in Augsburg.
Since pharmacies in Germany are not open during the night a special night
service is available (look at the sign outside any pharmacy informing which
pharmacy has night service this day). You can recognize pharmacies by the

Services
The cheapest internet cafe is opposite of
the main central station.
Take street car 3 (direction “Stadtbergen”) and
get off the street car at station “Bahnhofstr.” During the week you can
access internet in the CIP pools of the University of Augsburg.

VISAS: Citizens of Australia, Canada, the
EU, New Zealand, South Mrica and the US do not need a visa for stays of up
to 90 days.

Telephones:
Pre-paid phone cards,
available at post offices, “Telekom” stores (German main telephone
provider), or kiosks carry a certain amount of time depending on the
card’s denomination (10€, or 25€).
An alternative is to bring with you a
international prepaid phone card from the US. Make sure that you know the
international direct dial numbers for Germany.
